The human movement system consists of a skeleton or bones and muscles. Without bones and muscles the body cannot move. Bones are a passive means of locomotion and muscles are an active means of locomotion. The collaboration of these two locomotives produces gestures. The movement system in humans consists of 200 skeletal bones, connective tissue, and more than 300 skeletal muscles. Muscles are attached to bones via tendon tissue and can produce movement around the joints when they contract.

This is why if the two types of locomotion experience problems, the function of the body's movement system will not work properly. In some cases, there are some people who are less fortunate because they have a bone disease or disorder that affects their motor system. There are several factors that cause bone deformities such as birth defects, infection, diet, or incorrect sitting habits.
