SPINAL PAIN?,  WATCH  YOUR SLEEP POSITION

Some sleeping position can help you to be fit, while others actually cause health problems. Spine Clinic in Surabaya, we want to help you how to implement a good sleeping position and its effect on the body that you might not realize. So you can sleep better, every night.

1. Sleeping on Side

Approximately 57% of people with this sleep position.

Effect:

- Can Help reduce snoring

- Can Facilitate blood flow that occurs during pregnancy

- Can Put more neutral spine position, so that the neck and back pain can be avoided

2. Sleeping on Stomach

Approximately 11% of people with this sleep position

Effect:

-Make Tough spine in a neutral position

-Gives stress on joints and muscles that would lead to nerve irritation

-Menyulitkan Adjust the position of the head and neck has the potential to cause pain

3. Sleeping Snuggled (fetal)

The most common sleeping position

Effect:

We recommend using a pillow that supports the neck so that the position of the head lifted and the pillow is not too high. Used mattress is not too soft. Mattress that is too soft will also make the spine in a neutral position because it follows the contour of a mat or mattress itself.
